Dopo la solita colazione con thè incandescente di Starbucks, uno dei pochi locali con connessione free wi fi, ho dedicato la giornata alla visita alla statua della libertà, dalla cui isola si ha una vista spettacolare su tutta la città. Continua l’esplorazione delle vie dello shopping qui a NY. Oggi vorrei segnalarvi la Broadway, una delle arterie che percorre l’intera downtown. Mai avrei pensato di poter attraversare la city a piedi e invece è ciò che ho fatto. La Broadway, dalla City Hall ad Union Square, ecco il percorso di oggi. Lungo questo tratto si incontrano negozi come Topshop, Zara, H&M, Converse, Levis, American Appareal, Forever21. Spazi molto grandi e brand piuttosto popolari qui e in Europa. Il negozio che però mi ha veramente colpito è Hollister, marchio che non conoscevo. Il negozio è una vera e propria esperinza, vede le foto sotto. Esternamente un cubo nero e all’interno ragazzi e ragazze bellissimi in costume da bagno o in divisa, tipo college. Musica altissima e luci soffuse. Unico neo negativo: i camerini. Solamente 5 per un negozio di 5 piani, non vi dico la fila per provare, per non parlare dei commessi, praticamente modelli, ma che si sono pure dimenticati di staccarmi l’antitaccheggio dalla gonna.

After the usual breakfast with hot tea at Starbucks, one of the few places with free wi-fi connection, I spent the day visiting the Statue of Liberty, whose island has spectacular views over the city. Continue the exploration of shopping here in NY. Today I would like to refer you to Broadway, an artery that runs through the entire downtown. I never thought you could cross the city on foot and hand is what I did. The Broadway, from City Hall to Union Square, here is the path today. Along this stretch you meet retailers such as Topshop, Zara, H & M, Converse, Levis, American Appareal, Forever21. Space is very large and quite popular brand here and in Europe. The store that really struck me though is Hollister, a brand that did not know. The shop is a real esperiance, see photos below. Outside and inside a black box beautiful boys and girls in bathing suits or in uniform, like college. Loud music and soft lighting. The only drawback negative: the dressing rooms. Only 5 for a 5-storey shop, do not tell you the line to try it, let alone committed, pretty models, but they are also forgot to detach the EAS from the skirt.
