Gli Ugg sono stati una bella invenzione. So che a molti ragazzi non piacciono e li ritengono una delle cose peggiori da vedere ai piedi delle donne, ma chi non li ha provati non sa cosa significa indossarli. Sono talmente caldi e comodi che li metterei sempre. Un po’ tutti conoscono la storia di questo scarponcino, nato in Australia per i surfisti, i quai li indossavano dopo essere usciti dall’acqua per riscaldare velocemente i piedi, ma non tutti sanno che l’inventore degli Ugg ci guadagno’ ben poco. Stedman vendette tutti i diritti della sua idea al marchio americano di calzature Deckers per sole 10.000 sterline e tre paia di Ugg all’anno per il resto della sua vita, divenendo protagonista di uno dei più grandi business mancati della storia.
