Quando pensi a una grande città, pensi anche a tanto cemento e smog, ma una delle immagini che invece mi compaiono davanti se chiudo gli occhi e penso a Manhattan sono i parchi. Piccoli o grandi, ma sempre curatissimi, adorabili regni per gli animali che li vivono, soprattutto scoiattoli. Ce no sono veramente tanti e visto il caldo dei giorni passati sono stati i miei luoghi preferiti per riposare i piedi dalle fatiche da turista. In queste foto vedete il City Hall Park che si trova alla fine del distretto finanziario, di fronte al City Hall, il municipio di NYC.
When you think to a big city, you think too much concrete and smog, but one of the images that appear in front of me if I close my eyes and think to Manhattan are the parks. Small or large, but always well kept, lovely realms for animals who live there, especially squirrels. There really are not many and seen the heat of the past days were my favorite places to rest your feet from fatigue as a tourist.
