Quando l’ho visto ho pensato “Voglio vivere qui dentro”. Dean & Deluca è un paradiso per gli appassionati di dolci e di buon cibo in generale come me. Si tratta di una catena americana, una sorta di boutique alimentare, con negozi sparsi un pò ovunque, ma quello assolutamente più bello è quello al 560 della Broadway, tra Prince e Spring street, a SoHo.
Chi ci entra come me per caso rimane abbagliato dal bianco dei pavimenti di marmo e da una fila di pilastri in ghisa, sormontati da capitelli. Qui si può trovare di tutto, solo della migliore qualità, dalla frutta, alla carne, dal pesce, ai formaggi, dalla verdura alla verdura, per arrivare ai dolci, i miei preferiti ovviamente. Prezzi alle stelle, decisamente poco alla portata di tutti, ma noi appassionate di belle scarpe, lo sappiamo bene, la qualità costa.
